founder Pamela Kelley Pizel has been in the commercial real estate
industry since 1981. She holds real estate licenses in Texas, Arkansas,
Oklahoma and Tennessee. Pizel is one of a very select group that has
earned all three of the following designations: CCIM is considered the Ph.D. of commercial real estate. Only four percent of all commercial real estate practitioners hold the elite CCIM designation, reflecting not only the caliber of the program, but also why it is the most coveted and respected designation in commercial investment real estate. As one of only 6,000 professionals nationwide with this designation, Pizel possesses a thorough understanding of the financial analysis concepts and investment strategies needed to make sound decisions on acquisition, ownership and disposition of commercial property. The Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS ®, confers the CCIM designation. The designation process ensures that CCIMs are proficient in theory and in practice. Every professional working toward the designation must successfully complete a graduate-level curriculum totaling 200 classroom hours. Candidates are required to document professional transactions and pass an eight-hour comprehensive examination. Prior to founding Pizel & Associates Commercial Real Estate, Pamela Kelley Pizel was a leasing agent at Kelley-Lundeen, Inc. She represented tenants in office, retail, industrial, and medical leasing, and trained new agents for the firm. In 1986, she received Kelley-Lundeen’s Project Leasing Agent of the Year Award.
